It’s no secret that we love to champion the wonderful world of British quilting, and UK fabric design house Lewis & Irene are always catching our eye with their new fabric ranges and the wonderful stories behind their designs.
With their Autumn 2017 collections hitting fabric shops and online stores as we speak, we’ve become especially smitten with the Farley Mount fabric collection. It’s inspired by a ride across the Hampshire countryside, a few miles from the L&I offices – where there’s a monument standing as a memorial to a magnificent 18th century thoroughbred. The fabrics are right up our street, featuring rich, Autumnal tones and elegant prints (including a fun horses repeat print). See them in action in the quilt we’ve pictured above – it’s been designed by Sally Ablett using fabric from the collection and is just one of the fabulous free quilt patterns you can find over on the Lewis & Irene website.
You can see full range of new Autumn fabric collections from Lewis & Irene in their Autumn 2017 brochure below. Find find your nearest stockist from the list over on our sister site Love Patchwork & Quilting or explore the range for yourself over at www.lewisandirene.com.
