As the seasons change, we’re feeling a boost in our quilt making productivity levels! As the nights get darker and chillier, the lure of staying inside in the warm to enjoy a cosy quilt making session is getting stronger! So we’re delighted to discover the latest Penny Rose fabric collection is bringing a blend of sunny shades and tonal warmth to our quilting tables this month!
Sally Ablett introduced us to the Gingham Girls collection (available from EQS stockists) when she used it to piece her Written in the Stars quilt for issue 27. With its shades evoking a Primary palette, these ditsy print fabrics look so beautiful pieced into interlocking HST stars. We’ve been playing with our own office stash of the collection and have loved spying dancing daisies, miniature strawberries, butterflies and retro gingham prints. The whole range has got us reminiscing about childhood picnics and school uniforms… and we do love a trip down memory lane!
Available in three colour ways, this Penny Rose collection is ideal for everything from small sewing projects to use hanging quilts.
