Friday fabric: Flo’s Little Flowers

Lewis & Irene jelly roll

Get ready to give your spring quilts a serious boost of flower power! We’re playing with a Jelly Roll of Lewis & Irene fabric today, and we’re loving it! We’re posting these pretty bundles of pre-cuts out to new subscribers this month (visit our subscriptions store for details), and we’re lucky enough to keep one for ourselves too. It’s just what we’ve been looking for for our next project. The Flo’s Little Flowers collection is packed full of ditzy prints that are perfect for sewing-up beautiful quilt blocks.

Of all the prints in the range, the miniature daffodils might just be our personal favourite (they happen to match the real-life blooms that are brightening up the Today’s Quilter offices this week!). On top of these spring favourites, the Jelly Roll also includes ditzy-print daisies, boho blooms and assorted styles of brightly-printed-petals. It’s our new go-to stash builder, and we’re quite curious to see what happens if we combine the prints for maximum ‘mix & match’ vintage style. There’s one way to find out… *reaching for our rotary cutter and sewing machine!*

If you love Today’s Quilter and don’t want to miss all the great ideas and projects that the magazine offers, why not subscribe? We’ll send you your very own Flo’s Little Flowers Jelly Roll, worth £30 – subscribe today to sign up for the prettiest of post!*

*This is an offer for new UK subscribers. See our subscriptions page for terms & conditions, plus details of our overseas and digital subscriptions too.
