Antique British Quilts supplement
We couldn’t believe our eyes when we visited the Antique Textiles Company in London, as Christopher Wilson-Tate’s textile treasure trove overflowed with antique quilts and patchworks. Everywhere we looked was another quilt, which is unsurprising as Christopher estimates he has 2,200 quilts in his possession (a selection of which are pictured in the supplement). And, luckily for aspiring antique quilt collectors or those that simply want to sneak a peek into Christopher’s extensive collection, we’ve picked Christopher’s brains for his story, expert advice and a beautiful antique-inspired pattern to try.
